I'm honestly nobody special. I'm just a guy born and raised in West Virginia who is smart enough to make it in the world but unfortunate enough to be held down. It's the same story that many, many other people around the world have to share.
I'm a writer, musician, forum mod/admin, webmaster, reader, and avid gamer. I am Irish-American with uncertainty about how much Irish blood is in my veins - though the features of an Irish background plague me. I have some noted Cherokee in my bloodline as well. I stand five-eight and am honestly overweight. I do wish to lose weight, but I do what I can. I suffer from paranoia and at times believe that everyone hates me. I can't control this. I try to be everyone's friend, but I dislike arrogant people. I love heavy metal music, the Mortal Kombat series, and the Doom series. I'm not that different from you.
I graduated from Saint Albans High School in 2002, and attended West Virginia State University in from 2003 to 2004. Even though I practically demolished my English courses, financial woes snuck up on me, rendering me unable to return to school since. However, thanks to my belief in hard work, I never stopped working toward something that I believed would help me achieve success.
I played in a local band for a good six months and ran a fairly decent website that bore my namesake. The site contained various writings and randomness that I felt like sharing - this site will possibly follow the tradition. I tried my hand at writing articles about Magic: The Gathering for a short period while trying to qualify for the Magic Pro Tour. I gave up on the Tour and stopped writing for Magic shortly after realizing that most Magic fans on the Internet are arrogant dicks.
I joined Screwattack.com in early 2008 and made it my home away from home. A few months after joining, I was given the honor of becoming a moderator for the forum and main site. I work this position with seriousness and pride alongside my paid job at Ticketmaster.
I currently write multiple columns for Screwattack.com None of these columns are official.
I currently reside in Saint Albans, West Virginia with my fiancee, Dawn. We spend nearly every minute of every day together, and we couldn't be happier.
